As Grace Lee Boggs, a social activist who fought for civil and human rights, wrote: "We are beginning to understand that the world is always being made and never finished; that activism can be the journey rather than the arrival."

State of Our Democracy Report Volunteer role — Writing, researching, editing, joining group calls
Expected Time Commitment: Stars in January; 1-3 hours per week
We're prepping our work for the next State of Democracy report. It examines and assesses the state of democracy in Maine based on publicly-available data, published reports, and research conducted by our team. It's widely received and critically acclaimed. Join the Youth Engagement Team Volunteer role — So many roles for so many interests!

We offer a wide variety of services and youth engagement services. Our Youth Engagement Team is busy connecting with schools, developping curricula for teachers, and building our youth advocacy team, among other projects. Interested?
