It's go time! 🏋️🏋️ The preliminary bill titles have been published online, and Augusta is in full force with both chambers in session on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Legislative committees are returning to in-person meetings, with livestreams hosted on the committee meeting pages. This can be accessed through the calendar. It looks like in-person and zoom options will be available for delivering testimony, but we'll provide more guidance when it's time to submit.
In the meantime, here are your weekly updates 👇
It's been three years since we've come together in Augusta for an advocacy day. Time to restart the annual League tradition: celebrate our birthday and lobby our legislators. We're turning 103, and we look good for our age.
Join us under the dome for a day of speakers, education, and action around strengthening our democracy. In the morning, we will have a keynote speaker and opportunities to engage your legislators. In the afternoon, we will have tea at the Blaine House and a panel discussion.
Click here to register. Then, let us know your preferences for the day (such as food allergies and if you need help lobbying your legislator) by filling out this form.
