Third-party registration is the same as a voter registration drive. Volunteers help voters fill out an application so that they can register, or update their registration, to vote by mail or online. Third-party voter registration can be a valuable service but it's also a big responsibility! If you'd like to help register voters in the state of Maine, join this workshop with the League.
Our work is nonpartisan, and we neither support nor oppose any candidates or political party. Our goal is for everyone in Maine to have equal access to the ballot. We work to make it easier for people to cast their votes and to make their voices heard.
*Voters need to submit their registrations at a voter registration drive by October 15 so that the Town Clerk has time to process the application in time for the November 5 election.
