Queer Trivia Night & Immigration Rights Open Mic

We will be holding a 1 ½ - 2 hour long trivia night with questions themed around Queer history, pop culture, art and more. Participants are encouraged to donate to the Trans Formations Project when they come in, don’t be discouraged from joining if you cannot donate, though, as it is not required. Participants are asked to come in teams (with team names, of course!) and stay for the whole time, as there will be prizes given out at the end.

After trivia, we'll gather to listen and share stories about immigrant experiences in an event hosted by Portland's Youth Poet Laureate, Yashu Derisala. Signature MiMi, Portland's Poet Laureate, will open the space, and then everyone will have an opportunity to both share your own story and hear about the experiences of others. Connect through art!
